Gershman Partners acquired the historic 1930's vacant Kroger Market, turned Double 8 Foods at 46th Street and College Avenue in the fabulous Meridian-Kessler neighborhood at the edge of trendy "SoBro" in 2016.

THE SOCIAL CANTINA! NOW OPEN!! Social Cantina looks ahead to hosting date nights, happy hours, brunch with friends, and patio parties. The 4,500-square-foot location will serve Social Cantina fan favorites, such as the chips & salsa flight and house-made margaritas. Outside, along with a 1,000-square-foot patio, will be a mural by local artist Kimmy Wachtel, paying homage to the vibrant cultural district of Broad Ripple. Just a short walk from Indianapolis icons, such as the beloved Monon Trail and Butler University, the restaurant will be positioned to welcome families, students, and foot traffic from surrounding businesses.

RESTAURANT REVIVAL HISTORY:

Kimbal Musk, Partner and Boulder, Colorado based Big Green and The Kitchen Restaurant Group transformed the 46th Street and College structure into the first round of modern farm-to-table (now unfortunately, both closed) Next Door Eatery, turned ND streetBAR, which ultimately revived the streetscape in the neighborhood and IndyGo's Red Line intersection and (2023 - 2024) Gallery Pastry.
